What is the Welcome Bonus Offer?
New cardholders who are approved for a card between 7th July and 7th September can earn up to 50,000 bonus points and 5 Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) by meeting the qualifying criteria.
- 20,000 Hilton Honors Points on first transaction (Any eligible purchase of £1 or more).
- The remaining 30,000 Hilton Honors Points and 5 EQNs will be awarded upon spending £2,500 in foreign currency transactions within the first 6 months.
What is an Elite Qualifying Night (EQNs) and how do they work with my Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card and the welcome bonus?
An Elite Qualifying Night (EQN) is a qualifying night that counts towards earning or maintaining Hilton Honors Elite Status. Each EQN brings you closer to achieving a higher membership tier. Hilton Honors members can earn Elite Status by accumulating qualifying nights during a calendar year (among other qualification methods).
Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) earned through your Hilton Honors Debit Card are credited to your Hilton Honors account and count towards Elite Status qualification and requalification, in line with the Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions.
Through eligible card spend, you can earn:
- Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card: Up to 30 EQNs each calendar year (5 EQNs for every £5,000 spent).
As part of the Limited Time Offer (LTO) welcome bonus, you'll receive an additional 5 Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) on top of these existing card benefits upon meeting the eligibility criteria.
This increases your total annual earning potential to:
- Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card: Up to 35 EQNs in total, helping you work towards the 50 EQNs required to retain Diamond Status.
Are these 5 additional Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) included in my existing card benefit, or are they extra?
These 5 additional Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) are awarded on top of the current EQNs you can earn through your Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card , giving you an increased opportunity to earn or retain Hilton Honors Elite Status. They will be awarded upon spending £2,500 in foreign currency transactions within the first 6 months.
What counts as my first transaction?
Any eligible purchase of £1 or more, made in any currency, will qualify as your first transaction.
When will I receive the Hilton Honors Points & EQNs if I meet the threshold?
The bonus points and EQNs will be credited to your account after you’ve met the thresholds within 14 working days.
What is considered a foreign currency transaction?
A foreign currency transaction is an eligible purchase made in a currency other than Pounds Sterling (GBP).
How much do I need to spend in foreign currency transactions to earn the remaining 30,000 Points & 5 EQNs?
You must spend a total of £2,500 equivalent in eligible foreign currency transactions within the first 6 months of ordering your card.
I already have one of the Hilton Honors Debit Cards. Am I eligible for this offer?
If you have held the Hilton Honors Debit Card or the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card within the last 12 months, you are not eligible for this offer.
I would like to upgrade from the Hilton Honors Debit Card to the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card. Am I eligible for this offer?
If you currently hold the Hilton Honors Debit Card and would like to upgrade to the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card, you can do so by going to the Hilton Honors Card app, selecting your account in the right corner. Then a pop up will appear in the account section to upgrade to the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card. However, you will not be eligible for the Welcome Bonus offer.
I recently cancelled one of the Hilton Honors Debit Cards. If I apply again, am I eligible for this offer?
If you cancelled the Hilton Honors Debit Card or the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card within the last 12 months, you are not eligible for this offer.
