If we fail to collect funds due the first time by direct debit, we will attempt a second time a few days later. We will always reach out first to let you know we’ve been unable to collect and we’re trying again.
If the payment fails again, your account will go into our Collections and Recoveries process and a one-off late payment fee of £35 will be applied after 3 days.
If the outstanding balance (including the late payment fee) remains unpaid, an additional fee of 40% of the total outstanding balance will subsequently be applied and your card will be blocked. We reserve the right to refer any outstanding balance, including any applicable fees, to a third party for recovery. Any additional costs or fees incurred by such third parties may be added to the outstanding balance. We may report missed payments and outstanding balances to credit reference agencies, which may negatively impact your personal credit score. We may issue a formal demand for payment and take further recovery action.
Please remember, Hilton Honors Debit Card is not a credit provider and therefore, we expect customers to pay for transactions made on their Hilton Honors Debit Card card.
